Death LEDs. Do you know what’s the problem with them?

The LED display product is an electronic product, it’s common that the LED, IC, power supply, receiving card, and HUB card may have a problem during the LED screen product use. The LED is the most important part of the LED display and the most important thing most of the customers are concerned about.
If there is a problem with the LED lamp, they will bring huge trouble to the customer, the customer will waste time fixing the LED lamp and has less confidence to get more project.
However, if there is really some problem with the LEDs, how do you know what’s the problem with them?

-The problem with the Hub card or flat cable:

If one module doesn’t show a full image like the picture, it may be a problem with the Hub card or flat cable.
For the rental LED screen with a pin connection, the reason is connection between the Hub card and the pin on the module may not connect well. So we need to take out the problem module and put it back, take out the power supply box, and put it back. After we reconnect the module and Hub card, it has also the same problem, this may be the problem with the Hub card, so we need to change a HUB card.
For the fixed LED display and rental LED screen with a flat cable connection, The flat cable connecting the receiving card and module, we need the flat cables. Disconnect and reconnect them, and see whether it works. If it doesn’t work, we need to change to a new flat cable.

-The problem with the IC:

If there is a straight line appearance on the screen, it may be the problem with the IC. Then we need to change an IC.

-The problem with LED lamps or soldering.

If there are a lot of LED lamps on the screen that go wrong, we need to find out if it’s the problem with LED lamp quality or the soldering problem. There are 2 types of how they look in the pictures. 1. The wrong LED turns into red/yellow/blue/green color. 2. The wrong LED turns dark with no light. So we need to test them to identify what’s the problem with them.
Here is a simple way to test: Press and shake the LED. If they light on and off between normal color and dark(or wrong color like red/yellow), it’s the problem with soldering. If the color is not changing, there is a problem with the LED lamp quality.
